ROLEX - an Oyster Royal wrist watch. Circa 1959. Stainless steel case. Case width 32mm. Reference 4444, serial 506288. Signed manual wind movement. Silvered dial. Fitted to an unsigned brown alligator strap with stainless steel pin buckle. Movement is currently functioning. The movement shows noticeable marks and scratches. The winding and hand setting action are not as smooth as would be expected. Dial shows noticeable scratches, marks and discolouration. Hands show marks and tarnishing. Glass has scratches and marks. Case shows scratches, marks and dints. There is noticeable pitting around the edge of the middle case when the case back is removed. Crown screws down and has noticeable scratches and dinting. Strap is in a poor condition with noticeable wear, marks, creasing and discolouration. Buckle shows noticeable marks and scratches. This lot does not come with box or papers. Due to opening of the case back we recommend this watch is re-sealed by an authorised technician to ensure any stated water resistance is retained.
