Reference "It is strange that there are no fish and shrimps in the pond, but the lotus leaves is also beautiful." This is the classic quote of the Baishi inscribing a picture of a river shrimp. This painting , "Fish, Shrimp and Crab", is a gathering of several aquatic species that Baishi is best known for. It is one of the few works of Baishi to make a narrow picture so lively and rich. The plain crabs, the dexterous and nimble shrimps, and the small fish moving around are so innocent and lovely.
