MULTICOLORED GLOBULAR VASE W.22cm H.40cm Description: This is a multicolored globular vase made during Guangxu reign of the Qing Dynasty. It has a flaring mouth, a contracted neck, a round abdomen,a high foot ring, with bat pattern in which the bat is homonymous with Fu, which is a metaphor for luck and happiness. The ancient Ruyi pattern is called "Ruyi" because the end of the handle is like a finger, which can be used to scratch the itch as one wishes. The interlocking branch pattern is also known as the "Vine of Longevity", which symbolizes "life and prosperity" and means good fortune.The composite flowers are traditional Chinese auspicious patterns, called Baoxian flowers, which is rich and precious. The fretwork pattern has a long history, and it is a symbol of "endless life". The"Pa Hua" was born during Qianlong reign, known for its intricate craftsmanship. It applies red, yellow, green and other colored glazes on the porcelain body as the background color, which is "Jindi".Various patterns are engraved, which is referred to as "brocade on flowers" in the records of the Qing Palace.This kind of porcelain is characterized by prominent Yin and Yang, distinct intensity, strong three-dimensional sense, soft, elegant and bright.
