GOLD AND SILVER POT W.13.5cm H.13cm Description: This piece is a gold and silver jar with regular shape, round mouth, short neck,cambered abdominal part, round cover on the top, button on the top, symmetrical ears on the shoulder.The vessel is made of copper, the cover and shoulders are decorated with exquisite patterns of gold and silver, the abdominal part is decorated with iron wire seal, interlocking gold and silver wire , full of work and full decoration, which is very wonderful. The body of the jar is full of gold and silver , engraved with animal-shaped ears on both sides , rust spots are obvious, and the patterns are exquisite and lifelike. The gold and silver technology is one of the traditional metal decoration techniques in ancient China.It was first seen in the Shang and Zhou dynasties, is mainly used for decorative patterns on various utensils of bronze ware, carriage ,utensils, weapons and other practical utensils.
