款识：曾荫先生方家正之，辛未夏日，写于北京借居，大千弟爰。||钤印：张季、大千居士|说明：上款人曾荫即徐申如（1872-1944），名光溥，号曾荫，海宁硖石人，清末民国初实业家，徐志摩之父。交游甚广，与南通张謇尤为友善，深受其“实业救国”思想的影响。徐氏世代经商，早年继承祖业，独资经营徐裕丰酱园。清光绪二十三年（1897），合股创办硖石第一家钱庄—裕通钱庄，后又开设人和绸布号。先后担任硖石商会总理、会长、主席近30年。1911年，被递补为浙江省咨议局议员，又当选为硖石镇董事会总董。为人正直，又热心地方公益，积极参与募捐赈灾，受到民众的赞扬和敬佩。|
