An early 20th century gold ruby, seed pearl and enamel brooch.Length 4cms. 3.8gms. Overall condition good. Surface scratches in keeping with general age and wear. Seed pearls are a purplish pink hue, with iridescent overtones and typical surface features. Ruby is a medium pinkish red hue, well saturated, with good clarity and typical inclusions, some of which are surface reaching. Ruby is in good condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges. White enamel is in good condition.
