An early 20th century gold sapphire, split pearl and garnet butterfly brooch.Length 3.2cms. 4.1gms. Overall condition good. Some surface scratches/ wear and discolouration in keeping with general age and wear. Believed wings previously hinged, slight soft solder visible. Few split pearls with glue residue surround. One imitation pearl replacement. Split pearls in good to fair condition with typical surface blemishes, light to moderate nacre damage, three significantly chipped.
