A 19th century micromosaic and gold brooch, the domed plaque depicting a beetle, within a fleur de lys border. The mount with applied wirework decoration and suspending two drops, (one missing), 41mm width, gross weight 24 grams. Accompanied by a fitted case. Condition report: Some minor damage to tesserae. Mount overall condition fair - normal signs of wear, but one drop missing. Maker's mark indistinct on reverse. Damage to case. Estimated: £450-£650
