A late 19th century 18ct gold agate cameo and old-cut diamond brooch, depicting a lady in profile. Estimated total diamond weight 0.80ct.Length 2.4cms. 7.2gms. Overall condition good. General light to moderate marks, wear and some small dents in keeping with age. Diamonds generally appear fairly bright. Some with small to moderate chips and nicks. Diamonds estimated G-H colour. Diamonds well matched. Diamonds bright. Agate has a translucent deep orangey red back, with white carved area. Agate in good condition with minor abrasions. Marked 'V' and 'IP' to the reverse.
