An early 20th century 18ct gold sapphire and old-cut diamond five-stone ring. Estimated total diamond weight 0.20ct, H-J colour, P1-P2 clarity. Hallmarks for London, 1913. Ring size S. 3.1gms. Overall condition good to fair. General moderate wear in keeping with age. Diamonds appear bright. Sapphires are a fairly deep, medium slightly violet blue hue, well saturated, with good clarity and some typical inclusions. Sapphires with some small nicks and abrasions to facet edges. Central sapphire calculated weight 0.32ct, based on estimated dimensions of 4 by 4 by 2.5mms. Please see the Important Notices for Purchasers for coloured gemstones.
