An 18ct gold black opal and diamond cluster ring. Opal weight 1.41cts.Total diamond weight 1.05cts, estimated G-H colour, VS-SI clarity. Hallmarks for London, 1975. Ring size M. 6.5gms. Overall condition good. General light to moderate marks and wear in keeping with age. Some areas with slightly rough polish. Diamonds well matched. Diamonds bright. Opal is traslucent to opaque and appears to have a slightly brownish greyish body colour, with a fairly strong play-of-colour in some areas displaying a range of hues. Some dull streaks with little to no play-of-colour running down the length of the cabochon. Opal in good condition with minor abrasions.
