A late 19th century silver and 18ct gold, sapphire and diamond necklace, with convertible brooch fittings. Estimated total old-cut diamond weight 8 to 9cts.French re-strike marks. Length 35cms. 42.7gms. Overall condition good. Genera light to moderate marks and wear, in keeping with age. Necklace comes with two brooch fittings. Necklace can be disassembled into two brooches. Central principal diamond estiamted weight 0.75ct, H-I colour, SI2-P1 clarity. Diamonds generally appear bright and lively. Some diamonds with small nicks and abrasions. Sapphires are a fairly deep, medium slightly violet blue hue, well saturated, with good clarity and some typical inclusions. Sapphires in good condition with minor abrasions. Length of front section (main brooch) 6.6cms. French 18ct gold re-strike marks. Please see the Important Notices for Purchasers for coloured gemstones.
