An early 20th century platinum sapphire and old-cut diamond five-stone ring. Estimated total diamond weight 0.30ct, tinted colour, P1 clarity. Stamped Plat. Ring size M1/2. 4.7gms. Overall condition fair. Moderate marks and wear to the metal. Engraving to shoulders appears slightly worn. Diamonds bright. Two diamonds appear to be tinted a light slightly yellowish colour, one more brownish. Diamonds with some small nicks and abrasions. Sapphires are a medium slightly violet blue hue, fairly well saturated, with good clarity and some typical inclusions. Sapphires with some moderate abrasions to facets and facet edges, with some small nicks and cavities. Stamped Plat. Width (at widest) 3.8mms.
