An early 20th century gold, old-cut diamond bracelet.Estimated total diamond weight 1.85cts, H-tinted colour, VS2-P1 clarity. Approximate length 18.2cms. 10.6gms. Overall condition good. Some surface scratches, general discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. Diamonds appear bright and, at a glance, more well matched than the colour grades would suggest. Width 1.7cms. Back chain is expandable and is stamped 18ct, believed replacement. Front electronically tests as approximately 12ct gold. White metal insufficient readings. Fellows uses a Thermo Scientific Nitron Handheld XRF Analyser to test metals. This technology is limited to examining metal to a depth of approximately 8 microns. Fellows does not guarantee the standard of gold or platinum unless an item is hallmarked. Results from electronically tested items should only be used as a guide and with caution, as false readings are possible. Condition reports are offered as a guide only and we highly recommend inspecting any lot to satisfy yourself as to its condition. For any further questions you may have on this lot, please do not hesitate to contact Ben Randall at ben@fellows.co.uk
