A late Victorian 15ct gold turquoise and split pearl ring.Ring size P. 4.5gms. Overall condition good to fair. Some surface scratches and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. Varied discolouration. Band resized, slight thinning and discolouration. Turquoise show varied discolouration. Split pearls show varied wear, some significant. Length of ring head 1.7cms. Fellows uses a Thermo Scientific Nitron Handheld XRF Analyser to test metals. This technology is limited to examining metal to a depth of approximately 8 microns.
