以和田白玉圆雕而成，玉质细腻油润，包浆均匀厚重。母兽身形健硕，伏卧于地，粗眉凸眼，阔鼻方口，双耳下垂，花尾上卷。二小兽环绕其侧嬉戏玩耍，身形圆拙，憨态可掬。瑞兽口衔仙草，神态安若，慈眉善目。神灵瑞兽，自古即为人们所尊崇宝爱，更认其有护卫之功能，而玉雕作品自古即多有引用，以求其神力，作为庇护。整器用料考究，造型圆润，雕工细腻，母兽眉毛处以回纹为饰，鬃毛以长阴线为饰，仙草之花叶脉络亦阴刻到位，一丝不苟，足见治玉者工艺之精。
