中国的茶文化兴于唐，盛于宋、元、明，盏托也因应成为时代产物，宋元漆盏托光素无纹者为多，崇尚一色漆之美，且形体简洁，线条干练挺括而富有张力。拍品承接宋元形制，以木为胎，胎体轻薄，敛口弧壁，托盘作葵瓣形，较圆形托盘者更为少见，圈足外撇，造型挺拔端庄。通体外壁髹黑漆，内壁髹朱漆，黑漆之上绘金，素雅而富层次感，为同类器中的少见佳品。
