林炳生 （1930-1986），福建福州市东门后屿村人，近代著名石雕艺术家林友竹长子。自幼随父学艺，善于利用石形、巧色等，因材施艺，运刀敏捷，造型准确，有“快刀手”之称。擅于雕刻各种圆雕、镂空雕。刻画古代人物神态兼备，精妙绝伦。1972年《菊花笼鸟》、《活链花篮》等作品参加全国工艺美术展览会，大获好评。
