铭文：香中别有韵，清极不知寒。 盖盒为黄花梨所制，长方形，圆角，子母口相合。盒盖以百宝嵌作山石梅花图，造型优美，色泽典雅，图旁以嵌银丝工艺饰篆体诗文：“香中别有韵，清极不知寒。”与画面呼应，更增文人气息。盒壁近口沿处嵌一圈银丝回纹，并饰贝母梅瓣数朵，清新文雅。体现了明代文人的审美趣味，实为小器大作的一件文房珍品。
