铭文：胡马大宛名，锋棱瘦骨成。竹批双耳峻，风入四蹄轻。所向无空阔，真堪托死生。骁腾有如此，万里可横行。 玉质扳指起源甚早，清代满族入主中原后，扳指逐渐从实用器转变为供赏玩的装饰品，终成清代玉器之一大类。乾隆帝曾酷爱玉扳指，认为其“恰似环琚”、“德美信堪师”，评价极高。拍品周身浅浮雕胡马人物诗文，人物形态生动，通景构图疏密有致，画意高远，意境清幽。
