1.铭文：仁者高山仰止,厚德载物。勤忍。2.铭文：智者上善若水,海纳百川。精慎。 翡翠在有清一代为名贵玉石类，在清朝覆灭之前一度被宫廷垄断，凡所见清中期翡翠常质地上乘，工艺非凡之品。此镇纸以上等翡翠圆雕技法琢成，有明显的变斑晶交织结构，玻璃光泽明亮，抛亮度较好。镇纸正面所刻《论语》简洁的刀法，运用自如。细看其作，线条流畅，一剔而就，圆方深浅一任自然。镇纸原配红木莲瓣纹座，雕刻精细，与镇纸相得益彰，或为清代宫廷的精工之作。附：翡翠鉴定证书。
