A black-lacquer four-case inro Somada style, 19th century The vertical rectangular body with a roiro ground sprinkled with slight patches of mura-nashiji, inlaid in typical style with five cranes wading among reeds in a river, inlaid in shell, gold and silver foil, the interior of nashiji with kinji edges, unsigned; with a cloisonné-enamel ojime. 9.5cm (3¾in) high.
