A black-lacquer four-case inro By Maeyama Koshin, 19th century The roiro ground lacquered in Rinpa style with an autumnal scene of eight deer standing among large maple leaves, in grey, red, carmine and yellow takamaki-e, the interior of matt kinji lacquer, signed Koshin saku; with an agate ojime. 7.6cm (3in) high.
