艾叶绿石为寿山石中的三宝之一。因产量极少，无脉可寻，在明代被定为石中第一，被收藏者视为珍品。
本印章呈正方形，宽4厘米，高6.5厘米，外呈绿色，质细腻，呈半透明，莹光内敛。章料内有裂格，表面有几点由石里分泌出绒白斑，端庄秀丽。上刻一大两小三只狮子，寓意太师少师，造型生动活泼，栩栩如生。
此印为篆印文，字体精整隽拔，含蓄庄重，线条秀劲。整个印章温润脂凝，包浆老到，集印材、篆刻于一身，是一件难得的艺术珍品。
