A late Georgian gold and silver, vari-cut diamond and enamel stickpin. Principal old-cut diamond estimated weight 0.85ct, G-H colour, SI2-P1 clarity. Diameter of stickpin head 2.1cms. 10.3gms. Overall condition good. Some general light to moderate marks and wear in keeping with age. Appears to have been converted from a different item of jewellery into a stickpin. Set with rose-cut diamonds to the surround and the central five are old-cut diamonds. Rose-cut diamonds appear fairly bright and lively. Some with typical nicks and nibbles. Old-cut diamonds appear bright and lively. Enamel appears in good condition, with some light nicks and scratches. Full length 4.7cms.
