A synthetic sapphire, single and circular-cut diamond cross pendant.Estimated total diamond weight 0.35ct.Length 4.8cms. 5.2gms. Overall condition good. Some surface scratches/ wear, in keeping with general age and wear. Diamonds bright. Individual size and setting of smaller diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. Principal diamond estimated H-I colour, SI clarity face-up. Synthetic sapphires dark blue, well saturated, with good clarity. Synthetic sapphires in good condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges. Tests as platinum. Fellows uses a Thermo Scientific Nitron Handheld XRF Analyser to test metals. This technology is limited to examining metal to a depth of approximately 8 microns. Fellows does not guarantee the standard of gold or platinum unless an item is hallmarked.
