A late Victorian gold opal and old-cut diamond ring. Estimated total diamond weight 0.20ct. Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1900. Partially indistinct.Ring size P. 3.9gms. Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear. One opal slightly askew in setting. Diamonds well matched. Diamonds bright and lively. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. Opals in need of repolishing. Opals white in body colour with a good display of opalescence.
