An early 20th century gold sapphire and seed pearl openwork brooch.Sapphire calculated weight 0.52ct, based on estimated dimensions of 4.5 by 4.3 by 2.7mms.Length 3.2cms. 2.7gms. Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear. Sapphire medium blue, fairly well saturated, with typical inclusions. Stones in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges. Seed pearls creamy white body colour, well matched. Seed pearls are vary slightly in size.
