A late Victorian silver and gold, sapphire and old-cut diamond bracelet, with later back section. Sapphire calculated total weight 1.43cts, based on estimated dimensions. Estimated total diamond weight 2.80cts, G-I colour, VS2-P1 clarity. Length 16.5cms. 13.1gms. Overall condition good. General light to moderate signs of wear in keeping with age. Main body tests as silver topped gold. Likely been rhodium plated to appear all white. Later fitted with modern expandable bracelet section to the back. Stamped 18ct. Diamonds appear bright and lively. Diamonds generally appear in good condition, few appear to have small nicks or chips. Sapphires appear a well matched deep slightly violet blue hue, well saturated. Central stone and one side stone with good clarity, other side stone with some inclusions. Sapphires in good condition. Individual sapphire calculated weights: 0.72ct, based on estimated dimensions of 5.4 by 5.4 by 3.1mms, 0.37ct, based on estimated dimensions of 4.6 by 4.6 by 2.2mms and 0.34ct, based on estimated dimensions of 4.7 by 4.6 by 2mms.
