Description

端石，砚体呈长方形。其状如同秦砖，四边有平直的砚唇，其内有砚堂平浅开阔，受墨处微凹，其上首有方形墨池，四边有栏其状汝方井。其左右镌刻有阳文篆书：“留耕”。砚底平阔，其内一级深挖镌刻有隶书砚铭，字体行文质朴奔放，浑厚博大。砚整体造型典雅、华美、庄重却给人一种自然淳朴的格调与广阔的气象，砚色紫红如新嫰肝，石质坚细娇嫩光洁滋润。石上有火捺，其色紫红，火捺之中有青花点点如同鹅绒。却需要在日光之下以水湿之方显，十分名贵难得。
