ROLEX - a Precision Chameleon wrist watch. Circa 1957. 18ct yellow gold case. Case width 16mm. Reference 8788, serial 232567. Signed manual wind movement. Silvered dial with spearhead hour markers, quarterly square hour markers. Fitted to a signed red leather strap with gold plated pin buckle. Box. Movement is not currently functioning. Will require attention. Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible when viewed under a 4x loupe. Dial is in poor condition and shows noticeable marks and scratches. Hands show marks and tarnishing when viewed under a x4 loupe. Glass has noticeable scuffs and multiple scratches with some cracks to the surface. Case shows light scratches and marks. Crown has scratches and marks with wear to the plating. Strap appears to be in good condition with minor marks and creasing. Buckle shows wear to the plating as well as marks and scratches. This lot comes with a box with heavy wear and marks but no papers. Approximately ten spare Chameleon straps in a variety of colours and conditions are included.
