此碗为道光时期的传统典型官窑形制，外壁以粉彩黄地匝道剔凤尾形卷草花卉纹，其上绘设四个圆形开光，内以粉彩画各色花卉，枝繁叶茂，山水楼阁，玉立亭亭，极为雅致。底书大清道光年制六字篆书款，方正中和，微处尽显皇家尊贵典雅之气度。彩瓷轧道，亦称「锦上添花」，它在粉彩锦地的基础上用一种状如绣针的工具拔划出细如毫芒的诸如凤凰形卷草凹纹，从凹纹上可隐约看到白胎，最后配以花卉、山水纹饰或开光等图饰，做工复杂繁琐。这一工艺把粉彩和轧道的工艺有机地结合起来，形成珠联璧合之势，工艺颇为费工，且成品率较低，传世的品种不为多见。参阅：《故宫博物院藏文物珍品大系珐琅彩粉彩》商务印书馆 P216 清道光粉彩紫地匝道开光博古图碗。
