金刚亥母铜铸鎏金制成，头戴五骷髅冠，须发呈火焰状，蹙眉瞋目，狰狞无比，呈忿怒相，表情生动夸张。袒上身，胸前饰有璎珞项链，腰间围虎皮裙，环绕人头，佩饰璎珞钏环。右手持钺刀，左手持骷髅碗，单腿站立，踏仰卧女天王，呈舞姿状。下承单层莲瓣座，莲瓣饱满，上下饰有两道连珠，营造出华美的艺术效果。 金刚亥母被誉为「诸佛之母」、「一切智慧之母」，为藏传佛教噶举派女性本尊之首。许多高深的法教，例如大手印、那洛六法，都必须以观修亥母为基础。本件金刚亥母具有明显印度造像的风格，造形生动，比例匀称，舞动的姿势协调，富有魅力。 A GILT-BRONZE FIGURE OF VAJRAVARAHI 18TH CENTURY
