A pair of Chinese kesi rank badges, late Qing dynasty, of the third civil rank, depicting a peacock standing on a rock above spuming waves, centred by the terrestrial diagram and lishui stripe, surrounded by the Eight Buddhist Emblems, against ruyi-shaped clouds, details depicted in gold thread, the sun in coral beads, 28.5 x 31cm, framed and glazed, and another, similarly embroidered, 27.5 x 26.5cm, framed and glazed (3) 清晚期 缂丝文官三品孔雀纹方补 及 刺绣文官三品孔雀纹方补 一组三件 Condition report: Kesi pair - some loose and pulled threads, small holes to edges and corners.
