Chinese Flambe Glazed Hu Vase. The ovoid body rising from a short spreading foot to a short waisted neck, molded on the middle of the body with a single rib and set at the shoulder with a pair of lion mask handles suspending fixed rings, covered overall in a rich streaky purple-red glaze, inscribed with a Qianlong mark on the base. {Height: 8 1/4 inches (20.9 cm)}.
