A Chinese Bronze Garlic-Head Vase. The pear-shaped body rising from a short foot to a tall cylindrical neck tapering gently toward the mouth which is shaped as a lobed garlic bulb, the shoulder applied with a loop suspending a ring, the base with a further loop to the center, verdigris patina throughout with areas of encrustation. {Height: 14 3/4 inches (37.4 cm)}. Provenance: Property from the Richard I. Stone Estate. Condition: Age-related wear, patina and corrosion throughout, dents.
