Two Chinese Ceramic Pillows, Zhang Jia Zao Mark. The Cizhou ware pillow, painted on top with a pair of opposing ducks in the water, and on the rounded sides with a stylized foliate design, all against a white slip under a clear glaze, the base stamped with a three-character maker's mark Zhang Jia Zao; and the Yaozhou ware pillow, decorated with a floral spray, covered with a rich black glaze thinning to mushroom on the edges, the base unglazed exposing the buff ware.
