整器通体磨光，器身呈刀形，左右对称，尾部弧刃，刃口磨制规整。器柄部中间有一两面对钻的圆形孔，用以固定器柄。该斧上端较厚，由上至下渐薄。整器具有明显的商代器物风格。斧钺在古代作为权力的象征，为社会上层人士所拥有。
