A large blush terracotta urn, 20th century, in the manner of John Marriott Blashfield, now forming part of a fountain, the shallow acanthus-moulded basin surmounted by a putto pouring water from a cornucopia, raised on a bell-shaped pedestal and a square socle, 120cm diameter 230cm high A similar example can be seen in A Morris, 'Antiques from the Garden', p.120. Condition report: Wear, degredation and weathering as expected. The surmount is associated and probably later, as is the socle. Some chips, cracks and losses. Comes into five pieces.
