The Duke of Teck, C.G.B., November 18th 1875', the inside lid to the mahogany case inscribed in gilt 'Cyclops Steel & Iron Works, Sheffield', file 39cm long case 51cm long Francis, Duke of Teck (Francis Paul Louis Alexander 1837-1900), was a member of the British Royal Family, the father of Queen Mary. He was granted the titles Count of Hohenstein and Duke of Teck, and he became HRH in 1887. Condition report: Minor scuffs and scratches to case.
