纸本品相良好印钤：丁卯仲秋后三日焚香敬写 款识：旭梅 中原的佛教造像中，唐代以后就较少见到留有胡须的男相菩萨造型了，观音造像多为俊美的美男子形象或者慈眉善目的女性形象，留有胡须的男性形象极为少见；此件画像即为留有胡须的男相观音立像，其面相圆润饱满，头带戒箍，眉似弯月，双目细长，直鼻薄唇，神情恬然，绘通肩式大衣，衣褶线条清晰呈波浪纹，两手姿态优美合搭，形象稳重端正；拍品画工精湛，画像笔锋犀利典雅，浓淡适宜，细节神情描绘的恰到好处，并以局部金彩修饰使得作品更具神韵。
