The central medallion delicately fine depicted big flowers blooms interspersed with fresh green foliage and vines, enclosed with double fine yellow green rings lines. The outer central medallion rim decorated with abundant ripe oranges fruits interspersed with foliage. Oranges are grown in southern China and were popular presents for children. The character ju is made up of the radical mu wood and ji lucky. Also ju sounds close to zhu to wish so it symbolizes a wish for good fortune. Persimmons and tangerines together give a wish for success in all things. Lots of oranges and tangerines are consumed at the New Year festival.
