Dimensions: 16-1/2" H x 13-1/4" W Outstanding Chinese Qing Dynasty gilt bronze cloisonne lidded tripod censer in a globular shaped body with a domed lid, with two long S Shaped handles decorated on the top with arrays of Bajixiang Eight Buddhist Emblems motif. The exterior wealthy decorated all over with interlocking lotus blossom, repeated on all reserved rich turquoise-blue ground bulbous body, the rim is characterized by key fret, banded harmonically with repeating Ruyi Patterns on shoulder. The whole piece is raised up on three cabriole legs, issuing from animal masks, while the cover is surmounted by a closed-bud lotus knop, in gilt Bronze.Mark under the banded rim, a protruding four horizontal script -KaiShu- characters enclosed within rectangular border, Made in The Years of QianLong Reign Period.
