白玉質，玉質潔白綿細，厚片狀，器呈「人」字形，雙面同紋飾，中間扇形填滿乳丁紋，整齊勻稱，器身兩側琢龍頭，其下部飾雲紋，表情生動，霸氣十足。全器圓潤厚實，刀工俐落，浮雕技法細膩，精美雅致。 木座由紅木雕刻製成，上部呈現ㄇ字形，以兩隻夔龍裝飾，用來吊掛玉磬。木座整器雕工精巧，白玉雙龍磬搭配夔龍木座，展現出非凡的氣息，是為玲瓏剔透的珍品。 磬為中國古代打擊樂器之一，以石頭、玉石磨製而成，目前中國著名文獻上有詳細記載，《考工記·磬氏》裡說明了磬的形制與調整聲音高低的方法。
