金刚萨埵又叫金刚勇识菩萨，意为金刚勇猛心。西藏密宗认为他是本初佛，是普贤菩萨的化身，为密宗百部主尊之共主。此尊造像头戴五叶冠，宝冠两侧饰以嘎巴拉花于耳上，面相饱满丰腴，花型耳坠宽大华丽，自然垂于两肩，全身璎珞嵌以宝石，贴于袒露的上身，华丽非常。右手持金刚杵于胸前，左手持金刚铃放于腿上，造像结跏趺坐于仰覆莲座上，莲瓣饱满精致，刻有连珠纹饰，排列整齐。拍品铸工精细，身形饱满，大气端庄，实为鎏金佛造像中之极品。
