Three lotus flowers are sunken into the ground before him. The Buddha has twelve arms. The lowest pair is resting in the lap holding a bowl with amrita nectar. The second pair of hands gesture tarpana mudra sprinkling ambrosia into the bowl. The third pair in abhaya mudra is raised in front of the chest. supports the bowl in his lap. The fourth pair is holding a mudra with thumb and small finger touching. The fifth pair is also outstretched with rounded hands, thumb touching index finger. The sixth pair is joined above the head in uttarabodhi mudra, gesture of enlightenment. The Buddhas head is relatively small with fine facial features, almost closed eyes and with a peaceful expression. The head is adorned with an elaborately designed crown. The whole body is also adorned with jewellery, which is highlighted with stone inlay. This bronze piece is of rare and delicate quality.
