款识：尹默书简斋秋夜诗。|钤印：沈尹默|说明：沈尹默（1883-1971），原名君默，浙江湖州人，早年留学日本，后任北京大学教授和校长、辅仁大学教授。1949年后历任中央文史馆副馆长，上海市人民委员会委员，第三届全国人大代表等职务。沈尹默以书法闻名，民国初年，书坛就有“南沈北于（于右任）”之称。二十世纪四十年代书坛有“南沈北吴（吴玉如）”之说。已故全国文物鉴定小组组长谢稚柳教授评价其：“数百年来，书家林立，盖无人出其右者”。
