A hexagonal bronze vase by Yashima Boshu (1925-2001). Second half 20th century Of elongated faceted shape on a round foot. Chestnut-coloured patina with reddish streaks running in loops. Cast mark Bôshû to the base. Irregularity to the foot. Tomobako, the lid with an inscription reading Shûdô kabin, signed Bôshû zô and sealed Bôshû and a second seal. Height 24 cm Sechseckige Vase. Bronze. 2. Hälfte 20. Jh. Bodenmarke: Bôshû (= Yashima Bôshû, 1925-2001) Gestreckte facettierte Form auf rundem Fuß. Kastanienbraune Patina mit rotbrauen Schlieren die in hohen Bögen verlaufen. Unregelmäßigkeit am Boden. Originaler Holzkasten, auf dem Deckel beschriftet: Shûdô kabin und sign. Bôshû zô, Siegel: Bôshû und ein zweites. H 24 cm
