Ming Dynasty, 17th/18th century A bronze tripod censer of compressed shape with two handles, a dragon roundel in relief inside with the characters Da Ming Xuande and an apocryphal six-character mark Xuande at the base. Height 8.8 cm; width 13.5 cm Provenance Acquired by the mother of the present owner in the 1950s in China, thence by descent Weihrauchbrenner. Bronze. Ming-Zeit, 17./18. Jh. Gedrungen bauchige Form auf drei schlanken Füßchen mit dünnen, in den Rand überlaufenden Bandhenkeln.
