A gold ruby and opal cluster ring, an oval mixed cut ruby, possibly synthetic, rub set to the centre, to surround of round cabochon opals, grain set to a scalloped edge, the cluster later mounted to a plain underbezel, with tapered shoulders and a plain shank, the cluster setting tested as approximately 9ct gold, the mount tested as approximately 18ct gold, 2.58g. Finger size O Condition report: Cluster and mount are a later marriage. Surface marks/scratches to gold.
